The Trading Post auctions portion of ArenaNet’s recently released Guild Wars 2 is now
live for one and all with the latest update, a post on the game’s official wiki
confirms (via Polygon). The highly anticipated MMORPG arrived just last week, on
August 28, 2012, but Trading Post wasn’t quite ready for primetime at that point. The
dev team has been working to support “the huge volume of requested trades,” and last
night’s update flipped the switch to “on.”
The new update also introduces a handful of other changes, including some fixed
“blocking issues” related to a few storyline steps and improved network connectivity
for those who were experiencing problems. The big focus at ArenaNet for right now
seems to be on keeping Guild Wars 2 stable as an increasing number of new users
places additional strain on the game’s server capacity.
