This week marks the sixth anniversary of the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, and EA intends to celebrate the occasion by offering player packs. The game mode first appeared in the UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 game, but it was only officially implemented in the FIFA series with FIFA 09. Six years later, EA Sports decided to celebrate by offering packs and creating a special cup March 29.
Everyday, until that date, all players will receive a free pack of players per day (but it was not revealed what pack category it will be). EA is also creating a special FUT Birthday Cup, which may likely result in several rewards that have not been specified. Players can also purchase special packages, available every day until March 29.
