You remember when you were level nineteen, you were just starting your first battle ground in Warsong Gulch, and being destroyed by rogues that were super powerful? Yeah, those are called “twinks.†With top-end gear for their level with enchants and buffs all around, they enter battlegrounds with their large damage meters and whack at the people who aren’t twinks and eat them right up. Though, to make a twink, it is very expensive and requires some items to be farmed for them by another person without leveling up through the level nineteen or they would find themselves in another bracket. This is where you can come in, farming twink items can be a great way to make masses of money.
First, with a few battle grounds at a character at level ninteen, we can speculate a lot of them are rogues with some warriors mixed in as being the highest used twink classes. We’ll start off with some rogue twinking items that we’re able to farm and make some money off of. For their shoulders, most of them wear a BoE blue called Sentry Cloak, though this item is a world-drop keep in mind to not throw this away while farming other places for their drop. This may drop on your while you are full on bags, and you may think it’s just another useless blue and leave it there. The Sentry Cloak is actually a very good back for many of the twink classes and most of the time breaks the one hundred gold mark for regular prices. For hands, the rogues wear a BoE called Gloves of the Fang, these gloves are to be found from Druid of the Fang in Wailing Caverns. While searching for these, you may also find a Forest Leather Bracer along your way, for it is a world drop. Both of these items are the top twink items for rogue’s arms. Now, skinners get a little advantage when it comes to belts for many of the twinks. To make a Deviate Scale Belt, twinks will need a couple deviate scales and perfect deviate scales, these are only found off the raptors in Wailing Caverns. Though you may find some just off some loot, a better drop rate is found from skinning. Shadowfang Keep can be a prime place to farm some good items for twinks. Why is this? You may find one of the two great weapons for them, the Shadowfang and Assassin’s Blade. These are random drop though, but only found in Shadowfang keep.
Then, we’ll move onto warriors, our second most popular class to choose as a twink. You may find Blackrock Pauldrons from Blackrock Trackers and Blackrock Hunters in the Redridge Mountains, these are one of the best shoulders for warriors around that level with their high armor. The catch is though, they only sport a 2-3% drop, but they may sell for a good enough price worth it. Along with rogues, they sport a Sentry Cloak and a Shadowfang which you may be able to find sometimes when you are in Shadowfang Keep. Compared to the rogues, warriors have substantially less amounts of BoE items to be able to find, so you may be a little out of luck with warrior items but there are many other classes to choose from; it may take a little longer to sell but it may always be worth it.
Twinks are becoming more popular and even sometimes more organized sport against two teams of organized twinks; with these rises, it might be a great time to start farming those twink items and making lots of gold. Happy twink farming!
